Its final goal is a worthwhile and sustainable future for all in biodiversity, whith an equitable human society which is fair and just in all respects. This necessarily implies sustainable relationships among humans, as well as with other forms of life and their natural habitats. The most urgent priority of this movement is to effectively help diverse creatures most tormented and threatened by reckless human activities, which include countless fellow human beings already suffering, as well as future generations. Its combined approach of protecting life at risk of various species from plants to humans, as well as their natural habitats, encompasses most social, animal welfare, nature protection and environmental objectives of today. LIFE UNION unites these with other, not yet sufficiently recognized, though important aims, and aligns them all with the overarching goal of a multispecific and sustainable community of life on Earth, which limits disrespectful exploitation, unnecessary violences and abuses as much as possible. This ultimate objective can only be achieved thanks to the active help and support from many dedicated people around the world. For most of the man-made problems, which acutely threaten countless people, animals, plants and the environment, are so immense, complex and intertwined, that they can only be solved by a globally networked and determined community of very conscious and committed individuals, who don´t let others throw them dust into their eyes and do not bury their heads in the sand.

You can actively protect threatened life !

If you appreciate and want to actively support this movement for a liveable and fair world, you have many options for doing so. For example, you can make open-minded friends or acquaintances aware of LIFE UNION and thereby help to disseminate information and propagate some helpful ideas, that are essential for the overdue change in values. LIFE UNION requires adequate funding

Uunfortunately, not only achieving the goals of LIFE UNION, but already greater progresses in the pursuit of its priorities are impossible without considerable investments. Because on the one hand, this innovative movement for the protection of lives arbitrarily threatened by human greed was started by a private initiative with limited funds, while on the other hand the targeted problems are so huge and complex, it also needs external financial support. Subsidies from public authorities are highly unlikely, given the sharp criticism expressed by this movement about their policies which aggravate the major problems. This is especially worrying, as the aims of LIFE UNION are most certainly in line with the interests of the majority of taxpayers, who ultimately fund these subsidies. Financial support from companies that benefit even only marginally from excessive exploitation of living beings or its habitats and are unwilling to give that up immediately, is totally unacceptable for this movement. Thus, the potential funding opportunities for LIFE UNION are practically limited to the financial support from generous and dedicated private persons. They have the opportunity to either strengthen the movement as such with general donations, or to support one or more of its priorities, according to their personal preferences, with their financial contributions explicitely dedicated to them. LIFE UNION guarantees, that all donations earmarked in such a way for specific priorities, will be entirely attributed to these, and gives account for it as good as possible. During the initial development of this movement, the donations which are not dedicated for specific priorities, are particularly helpful. They enable the creation and maintenance of necessary infrastructure for the movement, as well as efficient communication and the international coordination of its activities. In addition to this, they can finance setting up further priorities already planned, which will target other acute problems, such as the murderous arms exports of alleged democracies, ongoing discrimination against women and the overflowing littering of the planet
LIFE UNION is highly committed to maximum efficiency and transparency, also in terms of funding. Thus, its donors are duly informed about the use in proper form of all their financial contributions exceeding the total value of hundred Euro in a calendar year. Though this procedure seems logical and self-evident, it contrasts sharply with the majority of fundraising practices to be seen in the non-profit sector.

Needed donations in kind are very helpful

In-kind donations are most welcome, if they serve a general need, for instance in the course of establishing or enlarging a base, or the material equipment for specific priorities or projects. Helpful donations in kind include for example good imagery with corresponding publishing rights, energy-efficient office equipment and various gear for operations organized to support this movement´s priorities. Logically, LIFE UNION can´t accept all intended donations in kind. Often the related storage and transport costs would be prohibitive or disproportionate. We also pay much attention to a reasonable relation between the utility of donations in kind and the energy required for transporting them to the place of use, in order to respect a justifiable environmental balance. For example, in most cases, intercontinental shipping of a donated large second hand photocopier would not make sense, and is thus to be rejected for environmental reasons. Desired are therefore only such donations in kind, which are either currently needed and can be supplied with reasonable effort to their final destination, or which can be meaningfully valorized for the purpose of accelerating the achievement of this movement´s objectives. Like donations of all kinds, diverse usage rights can effectively promote both this movement in general and its priorities. Such usage rights range from short-term deliveries of occasionally needed costly equipment, to temporal rights to use motor vehicles for LIFE UNION activities, and usage rights for real estate. Under ideal conditions, such real estate shall allow setting up and operating networked bases destinated to promote the protection of countless creatures including humans, threatened in this region by destructive activities of irresponsible individuals.

Life-saving legacy and footprint

Improving the society to make it fair and sustainable is a very difficult and lengthy undertaking, because massive resistances of very influential individuals with huge financial interests at stake hinder such an overdue transition. This can be achieved through their decisions, which significantly contribute to mitigate social grievances, or to the protection of nature, animals or the environment. Logically, a combination of these positive effects should be the best way to ameliorate an ethical life balance.
